He is one of the most talented fashion designers of our time. Zuhair Murad was born in Lebanon in 1971. After finishing secondary school, Murad moved to Paris and completed a degree in Fashion. He founded his fashion label in Beirut and Paris in 1997. Today his label designs, produces and sells some of the most sought-after fashion in the world. The brand is represented in more than 100 retail outlets around the world (USA, France, UK, Monaco, Switzerland, Japan, Russia, Canada, Singapore, China, UAE ...)

Every season, his collection includes a highly impressive couture collection, along with a prêt-à-porter line that is no less impressive.

New inspiration - fashion demands change and innovation

Where does a creative man draw his inspiration from? Zuhair Murad knows exactly what the answer to this is, and refers to his most recent phenomenal fashion designs that were presented at the start of the year in couture fashion shows in Paris.

Zuhair Murad has dubbed his current couture collection "Fire Waltz". A trip to Japan inspired the creation of his Spring/Summer 2017 couture collection, and he drew particular inspiration from the fascinating fireworks he experienced on the Island of Miyajima. An explosion of colourful light, cloaked in darkest night, was reflected in the dark waters below.

Swarovski crystals are delicately stitched on to form glowing filaments illuminating a creation of jade-green taffeta that sensuously envelops the body. The colours are natural, but intensified: moss green, fire red, fuchsia pink are set in daring contrast with each other with consummate skill.

Combining nature and modernity — timelessly elegant, opulently contemporary: this is Zuhair Murad's 2017 couture collection. And we are eagerly, excitedly looking forward to the next Autumn/Winter 2017 collection.
